# Saved addresses

> Naming the wallets you withdraw to.

You can save the addresses you withdraw to and give each one a name, so you are
not pasting the same string every time.

## How it works

On the withdraw screen, enter an address and save it with a label — `PHANTOM`,
`LEDGER`, whatever is useful to you. Next time it appears in the list and shows
as `✓ SAVED · "PHANTOM"` when selected.

Saved addresses are per asset. A Solana address cannot be saved against ETH, and
the wrong chain's address is rejected at validation rather than at send time.

## What Ace Up will not do

**An address is never auto-filled.** You always pick it, every time. Convenience
that fills in a destination for you is convenience that sends money somewhere you
did not look at.

Nor is your deposit address suggested as a withdrawal destination — they are
different things, and sending to your own deposit address would just credit you
back minus a fee.

## Removing one

Delete a saved address from the same list. Deleting it does not affect any
withdrawal already in flight to it.

## Validation

Addresses are validated before anything is sent:

* The format is checked for that specific chain.
* A Solana address offered to the ETH rail is refused, and the reverse.
* The check is inline, while you type, not after you tap.

> belonging to someone else passes every check there is. Paste carefully.
