# Shared tables

> Up to five seats, real people, one dealer and a clock.

A shared table deals one round to everybody at once. You see the other players'
hands as they are dealt, and you play your own turn when it comes round.

## Sitting down

The lobby lists the live tables with their names, limits and who is already
there. **Sit** takes the seat. A full table offers **Watch** instead — never a
dead button.

* Up to **five seats** per table.
* **Up to three seats per person at one table**, each a hand of its own with its
own stake. You cannot sit at two tables at once.
* Cards are dealt the casino way: one to each seat starting from the dealer's
left, the dealer's up card, second cards in the same order, then the hole
card. **A placed bet is final** until the deal; leaving before it refunds.
* Each table is denominated in one asset. A SOL table takes SOL bets only.
* **Tables open themselves.** When a venue is down to its last free seat, the
next table at the same stakes appears in the lobby before anyone is turned
away. A table nobody has sat at for ten minutes closes again.
* **Your own room.** "Open your own room" on the Tables screen makes a table
with your name on it; it shows in everyone's lobby within a second or two.

## The clock

A shared table runs on timers, because four other people are waiting.

| Phase | Seconds |
| - | - |
| Betting window | 15 |
| Betting window, once everybody has bet | 3 |
| Insurance decision | 10 |
| Your turn | 20 |
| Results on screen | 9 |

Missing the betting window sits you out for that round — it costs nothing. Your
turn timing out stands your hand where it is.

## Watching

Watching is a state, not a locked-out table. You see the round as it plays, and
one gold action sits you down. The seat takes effect at the **next** betting
window, not mid-round.

## Being sat out

Sit out for one full round and your seat is released to whoever wants it. The
screen tells you it happened and that nothing was charged, and sitting back down
is one tap. The rule is printed on the screen it applies to, before it bites.

## Leaving

Leaving before the deal refunds your bet. Leaving **mid-hand does not** — the
cards are already out and the hand plays to the end.

That consequence is written into the confirmation dialog, and the Telegram back
button opens the same dialog rather than dropping you out silently.

## Player-created rooms

You can open your own room from the lobby: pick the limits, and you are seated as
it opens. Limits are clamped to what the venue and the bankroll allow.

An empty room is swept away after about ten minutes.

## Seeing who you are playing with

Tap any name at a table for their profile: their Telegram photo, and their
rounds, amount wagered, net, win rate and biggest win **at this venue**.

Never their balance, and never their results anywhere else.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Venue owners and their managers cannot take a seat at their own venue. If you
> own the venue you are looking at, the seat will refuse you — that is the rule
> the whole revenue-share model rests on.
