# Your limits

> What you have used, and the caps you can set for yourself.

![The limits screen showing wagered and rounds used against their caps, and the pause options.](https://mintcdn.com/aceup/9Or0tHJTM0oGeA8-/images/screens/limits.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=9Or0tHJTM0oGeA8-\&q=85\&s=03b8223c21b833d66421022b9bf5bd02)

## What the screen shows

**More → Limits** shows what you have used today against whatever caps apply:

```
Wagered   0.82 of 20 ◎
Rounds    14 of 500
```

Usage, not warnings. Ace Up does not tell you that you are "approaching your
limit" — a nudge in a casino only ever points one direction, so the numbers are
simply there and you read them.

## The caps

| Cap | Default | Who sets it |
| - | - | - |
| Rounds per day | **500** | Applies to every account |
| Wagered per day | Not set | **You** |
| Share of your balance per hand | 100% | Applies to every account |

The daily round cap is on by default for everybody. The wager cap is yours to
turn on — set it to whatever number you would be comfortable losing in a day,
and Ace Up will stop you betting past it.

## What happens at a cap

Betting stops. That is all — you are not locked out of the app, your balance is
untouched, and **withdrawing is never blocked by a cap**.

Caps reset daily, on UTC days.

## Per-hand limits

Three things can cap a single bet, and the lowest wins:

* the table's own maximum
* a fixed fraction of the house bankroll
* your whole spendable balance

The felt names which one is binding, in words, rather than just refusing the
chip. Details on [Holds and limits](https://aceup.mintlify.site/money/holds-and-limits.md).
