Two optional side bets sit next to the main betting spot. Both are resolved on the deal, before you make any decision about your hand, and neither affects how the main hand plays.
Side bets carry a much higher house edge than the main hand — 6.109% and 6.073%, against 0.89%. Over time they cost roughly about seven times as much per unit staked. They are printed here, and on the rules screen in the app, so that is a decision you make with the number in front of you.

Perfect Pairs

Wins if your first two cards are a pair. House edge 6.109%.

21+3

Wins if your first two cards plus the dealer’s up card make a three-card poker hand. House edge 6.073%. Ace-Queen-King counts as a straight, as does Ace-2-3. The best result pays; they do not combine.

Placing one

The side-bet spots sit beside your main spot on the felt and print their paytables on the table — PAIRS 6·12·25, 21+3 5 – 100. Tap chips onto them the same way you bet the main hand. The Deal button splits the total so you can see both parts: 0.15 bet + 0.01 side. At a shared table, other players’ side bets show as small pucks beside their spots.

How they settle

Both are resolved the moment the cards come out. You are told the outcome on its own line in the result panel — Perfect Pairs · no pair · −0.01 ◎ — whether it won or lost. A losing side bet is never quietly folded into the main result.

They are checkable too

Side bets are dealt from the same committed shoe as the main hand, so verifying a round proves the side-bet cards as well.
